‘You Could See It’: Dr Nikki’s Theory About Abbie After Watching Her On Set With Matt

 

Sexologist Dr Nikki Goldstein took a visit to ‘The Bachelor’ mansion during Wednesday night’s episode and she noticed a lot going on behind the scenes while she was there.

She was there to explore the unspoken and lead Matt through some experiments that would help him identify the different types of chemistry he felt with each of the final five.

Dr Nikki told 10 daily she noticed a fair bit about his relationships with Abbie, Helena, Chelsie, Emma and Elly, who left ‘The Bachelor’ mansion last night.

“The ones I thought were the strongest were Abbie, Helena and Elly. They were strong connections but there are different types of connections,” she said.

But an interesting observation of Dr Nikki’s was about Abbie, mentioning that there were definitely more “fireworks” with her.

“You could see that they were very different. You will get these variations and someone might want more sexuality, someone might want more sensuality and some might want that comfortability factor, you know, when you look in someone’s eyes and you feel at home,” she explained.

That then depended on what Matt was looking for in terms of priority for the type of connection he needs, it’s just my job to bring it out.
Dr Nikki said she went onto ‘The Bachelor’ completely blind and wasn’t given any information about the women or their relationships with Matt but definitely noticed Abbie’s connection.

“I was going in judging from purely what was in front of me and it was interesting seeing that and then obviously being able to see it from the outside. You could 100 per cent see that [Abbie’s sexuality] on set that day,” Dr Nikki told 10 daily.

Dr Nikki said that since going on set and watching the show air afterwards, she really likes Abbie and feels like “she’s been given a hard time in the outside world.”

“There definitely is a chemistry there and I think that’s probably is quite confronting for some of the girls in the house because you can see it, it was there from the beginning,” she said.

On the flip side, Dr Nikki said while Matt did have a strong connection with Elly, who was sent home at the end of the episode, she didn’t think it was as strong as some of the other women.

“I really like Elly, I think she’s a really sweet girl. There’s an emotional side to her. With her connection, I don’t know if it’s as sensual. I don’t know if it’s as strong on the sensuality of sexuality side as the others on the day,” she said.

Dr Nikki said she understands Abbie’s mentality of not being on the show to make friends and explained that she clearly has a connection with Matt.

“As much as it would be great if we could all get along and show people how women can support each other, at the end of the day, you’re trying to get the attention and affection from this guy to see if there’s a relationship there,” she told 10 daily.

“Abbie’s being out for herself and should we be so hard on her? She likes Matt and she obviously has a connection and she’s going for that.”

Dr Nikki believes there is a fear around Abbie because she a both a strong woman and sexual woman, adding that this has come out in the commentary around her.

As for who she thinks Matt will choose? Dr Nikki said it’s a tough one because, unlike in other seasons, the girls that are left are all very different.

“There is a connection with every one, so as much as I’d love to go, ‘Okay well Abbie has a strong sexual connection’ but for Matt, it’s not just about sex,” she said.

“He’s not just looking for that, he’s looking for a long term relationship. So you know at the end of the day I think my guess is as good as anyone’s.”
