Do men compare us to woman in porn movies?

Yes and no.

If your partner watches a lot of porn then yes he might look for comparisons and differences not in what you look like but how the sex he has with you plays out. This could simply be a matter of him either watching too much or getting his expectations and education from the screen. It’s important if you think this is the case to challenge the amount or even type of porn he is viewing. Porn can be a lot of fun and great sexy entertainment if used right but the issue is not everyone uses it in a healthy manner. If you think he has unrealistic expectations in the bedroom due to porn, have discussions around how porn is made, read articles by porn stars and those that are on sets and maybe even a documentary not to spoil the fun but to educate him on the difference between real sex and porn sex and how porn sex is made. Often it’s a matter of someone just not being aware of the difference. 


If you are worried about comparisons on a self esteem level, don’t be. Often when men watch porn they are more focused on what’s going on then what someone looks like. These days one of the things I really do like about the different types of porn available is the different types of bodies you will see In these movies. All woman are represented unlike the media where we are provided with a minority that is pushed as the ideal or norm. Porn stars are no longer just sexy blondes with implants but all different types of woman. Meeting different types of porn stars that look different to the stereotype has even made be open my eyes to what is sexually attractive. Being sexy is not just one particular type of look.
