Pink Viagra Works Too Well – Woopy!!!

Well the rumours are out – the Female Viagra Lybrido is on its way. (And dam I wasn’t the one to invent it). I have always been sceptical that the pink pill was going to be the cure to all our female sexual worries and that even the blue pill was helpful to our relationships. Don’t get me wrong, functionally it’s a wonder and has helped many men get their wind back but ask women who might be struggling in their marriage and they will tell you, Viagra is not the answer. Relationship and sexual issues stem deeper than a hard on.
But what is obvious about this rumoured new pill is that it is being created by a man and signifies exactly what is wrong with the messages that are being fed to women about their sexuality. The scientists involved on this project have confided in a writer about a sexist fear, that the libido booster may work to well. You have to be kidding me right? (I get this imagine similar to a zombie movie but with the zombies being horny females running amok and chasing down men for their sexual pleasure – oh what a shame).
Even the Journalist who came across this information, Daniel Bergner was surprised of the concern about creating an orgasm hungry nympho. Isn’t that what many men are, especially those on Viagra? So what is it they are really scared of, women becoming men in the bedroom?
One of the concerns are that the results from these studies would be too strong and the FDA would reject an application out of concern that a chemical would lead to female excesses, crazed binges of infidelity and societal splintering. ( Oh so all those working at the FDA must be men too). Just because men can’t handle their throbbing erections, women wont’ be able to keep their legs closed and cheat on their partners? Maybe instead of being concerned about sex crazed women running around on this earth, men should be stepping it up in the bedroom and getting ready to meet and explore their needs.
Andrew Goldstein, who is conducting the study on this pill in Washington (not my brother although same name – wouldn’t it be great to keep it in the family?) stated, “ You want your effects to be good but not too good. There was a lot of discussion about it by the experts in the room… the need to show that you’re not turning women into nymphomaniacs. There’s a bias against – a fear of creating the sexually aggressive women.“ Cause’s that’s right men should be the only sexually aggressive nymphomanias running around this society.
I’m not against nympho men running around on this planet (actually quite all for it) but what I am against is this message constantly sent to women that wanting and having too much sex is a problem. We are not living in the 1950’s anymore and women have a right to sex, as much or little as they want. They should not be criticised for wanting and pursuing it. Sex and the culture that surround is it not a masculine activity and it’s about time we started accepting women as equals in the sex world too.
A land of sex craved women. Really what’s so bad about that?
