Now before anyone freaks out too much, the doll on the left is not a child but a smaller adult. These dolls are not light and many companies are now considering the logistics of how these dolls are transported and carried around. However to the western eye, this does feel a little concerning , but there are differences in different cultures as to what is considered sexy. In many Asian cultures, it’s about that cutesy innocent look that is often seen as sexy. But I am still conflicted by dolls like this and do doubt some of the justifications that were given to me.
